Yoga and Ayurveda are complementary practices with common goals, peaceful and joyful living, optimal health, and growth along personal and spiritual lines.
In this 8-hour workshop, we will explore the simple and gentle purification practices of both traditions through the use of oil, salt-water, massage, breathing techniques, and more. We will learn anatomy and physiology from a yogic perspective, one of holistic wellness and everyday clean living. The practices of Yoga and the process of self-inquiry develop self-awareness, leading us to enhanced body intelligence and wisdom. This allows us to create a self-care model and personal practice that is tailored to our needs and the changing seasons of life.
Join me for this informative and inspiring weekend workshop and develop the methods and tools that will enhance your yogic practice both on and off the mat and guide you in creating your daily self-care practice!
This workshop is open to the public and all adults and includes 8 Yoga Alliance CEU's for yoga teachers.
